Terms and Conditions

Effective August 28, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Adeline Rye, a service provided by Adeline Rye. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

You understand that Adeline Rye is not healthcare and cannot be used as a substitute for healthcare. Adeline Rye is an AI service and cannot be relied upon to accurately diagnose or identify an emergency, serious medical condition, or urgent health need.

We will do our best to make calls when they are scheduled, but these calls must not be relied upon for a person’s wellbeing. The calls are intended as warm outreach and conversation—not as a wellness check, safety monitoring, emergency response, professional care, or a person’s sole or primary source of emotional support.

The service

Adeline Rye provides automated care calls, related summaries and notifications, scheduling tools, and account-management features. We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.

Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must be legally able to enter into these terms. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us if you believe it has been accessed without permission.

Permission to contact call recipients

You may provide another person’s information or arrange calls to that person only when you are authorized to do so and have obtained all consent required by applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient’s contact details, preferences, schedule, and consent information.

Not an emergency or medical service

Adeline Rye is intended for supportive conversation and routine care-related communication. It is not a medical provider, emergency service, crisis line, monitoring service, or substitute for professional care. The service cannot reliably identify or respond to medical, mental-health, safety, or other emergencies. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service when immediate assistance may be needed.

Text messaging terms

When you provide a mobile number and consent to receive text messages from Adeline Rye, we may send verification codes, scheduling confirmations and reminders, call-status notices, post-call summaries and care-contact updates, account or subscription notices, and responses to support requests. Message frequency varies based on your account settings, scheduled calls, and use of the service.

  • Opt out: You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we may send one final message confirming your opt-out.
  • Opt back in: To resume text messages after opting out, reply START or contact us at support@adelinerye.com.
  • Help: Reply HELP for help or contact support@adelinerye.com.

Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Our collection and use of information, including mobile information and text-message consent records, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Fees and billing

Prices, billing intervals, included features, and cancellation options are presented when you subscribe. You authorize applicable charges using your selected payment method. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, charges already paid are nonrefundable.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service unlawfully; to harass, deceive, exploit, or harm another person; to contact someone without required permission; to interfere with the service or its security; to introduce malicious code; or to attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

Ownership

The service, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Adeline Rye or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service while your account is active and in compliance with these terms.

Service availability and disclaimers

We work to provide a reliable and helpful service, but scheduled calls may be delayed, missed, or interrupted, and automated calls, messages, summaries, and other outputs may be unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. You are responsible for arranging appropriate human contact, professional care, safety monitoring, and emergency support. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adeline Rye and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to unlawful activity, address nonpayment, or enforce these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated terms here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the service after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
